Kids Workshops-PLEASE READ

WORKSHOPS FOR KIDS AGES 5-17

  • Kids Ages 5-7 (Lil’ Sprouts) must be accompanied by an adult

  • Workshops for kid crafters with special needs & accommodations HERE

  • Please alert us to any food allergies

  • Welcome to bring your own snacks and drinks

  • Food & drink must stay on designated table

  • Wear sturdy shoes for uneven surfaces

  • Wear clothing your child can dirty or possibly ruin

  • Dress for the weather (greenhouse is warm in the winter)

  • Parent or Guardian must sign a waiver for child participation.

    No “adult” beverages permitted at public kids classes!

The Kid Workshops

  • “Lil’ Sprouts Kids” Open Workshop: Ages 5-7 (must be accompanied by adult!) Looking for a unique experience for your child? We welcome you to accompany your child(ren) as they participate in a hands-on workshop. This class is open to the public and on-site. Click HERE to register.

  • “Grow Getter Kids” Open Workshop: Ages 8-12 (for independent child crafters) A chance for your child(ren) to learn something new & enhance their crafting skills working with plants and other related mediums (live or dried) Parents of independent crafters are welcome to stay for the duration of this workshop.   • “Plants Bruh” Teen Open Workshop: Ages 13-17 (Independent teens) A chance for your teens to learn some new crafting skills with live or dried plants & other mediums. We hope your teen will have some fun socializing and listening to music as we horticultural craft. We strive to be a kind and safe crafting space! We will not tolerate name-calling, teasing, negative, or derogatory behavior. NO SPICY LANGUAGE! You are not in the halls at school, keep the cursing out of the workshop.   • All-Ages Kid Private Event: (ages 5-17) by Appointment only & requires advanced notice. A unique and educational way to honor a special day or milestone. We welcome your group of up to 12 kids (on-site) and up to 15 kids (off-site). Participants will all complete the same craft chosen by the workshop host. Craft choices vary by season.   • “13 Going on Crafty” Workshop: (Adult and Teens 13+): This workshop offers “the older kids” an opportunity to enjoy one-on-one time with the special adult in their life. This is an Adult/Teen workshop and both participants register for a seat and complete their own project. This class is open to the public and on-site. Click HERE to register.

  • “Hands-on Homeschool” for all ages 5-17: Added to workshop schedule by request of homeschool groups. We will only add this on-site workshop to our calendar by personal request from school groups. This workshop is a fun way to add a hands-on educational workshop to your child’s curriculum. We welcome up to twelve students on-site, and craft choices are seasonal.   • “Crafty Scouts” (ages 5-17) By Appointment Attention all Scouts! Let’s discuss how we can customize your Little Greenhouse Workshop curriculum to earn your Scouts or Frontier Girls a badge! This workshop is offered on-site for groups up to 12. Contact us HERE to discuss the details and needs of your Scout group & possible off-site workshop scheduling groups larger than 12.
